Dream Auction

Richmond's Dream Auction 2011" Celebrating 10 Years of Generosity!

The 2011 Dream Auction took place in November at the Executive Airport Plaza Hotel. We have almost reached our goal of raising $35,000 with ALL proceeds supporting poverty initiatives right here in Richmond!

31.4% of Richmond children live in poverty. Poverty in Richmond is invisible. Gilmore Park United started the Dream Auction in 2001 and now is partnered with CHIMO to produce the event.

The dream remains the same: that no child in Richmond will suffer from poverty. The funds are directed to the Richmond Food Bank, two local community meal programs, a hot breakfast program in schools, a teen community kitchen and CHIMO. More...

Community Meal Program

Community Meal Community meal every Thursday at 5:30 pm January through November.This is a free dinner offered to anyone regardless of means, social situation or religious affiliation. Everyone is welcome! Contact us if you wish to volunteer to help, to eat with us, or to make a donation.
