| Dream Auction 2009 |
In 2008 Richmond's Dream Auction raised $35,000. Thanks to all those who supported this event. The 2009 Dream Auction will happen on Saturday, November 28, 2009. 30.7% of Richmond children live in poverty. Poverty in Richmond is invisible. Every year Gilmore Park United organizes and sponsors the Richmond Dream Auction. Our goal is to raise awareness, and to raise $36,000 in one day for poverty initiatives in Richmond. The funds are directed to the Richmond Food Back, two local community meal programs, a hot breakfast program in schools and Nova House shelter. more … Our dream is that no child in Richmond will suffer from poverty |

Gilmore
Park United Church, located at the corner of Number One Road
(# 1) and Blundell in Richmond, BC, is a congregation of the
United Church of Canada. Our Mission is that people at every
stage of their lives will experience the transforming love
of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, and commit to a life of
discipleship.
Community meal every Thursday at 5:30 pm January through November.This is
a free dinner offered to anyone regardless
of means, social situation or religious affiliation.
